Sarah discovered her passion for flowers growing up in her mother's garden in Tiverton, RI. After graduating from Brown University, she began a corporate career that sent her traveling around the globe to Southeast Asia, Europe, and across the United States. Sarah decided to return to her roots in Rhode Island where she earned a Master's Degree in Urban Planning from the University of Rhode Island and started a career in landscape design. Sarah developed an acre of beautiful gardens at her home in Portsmouth which includes over ten different varieties of hydrangeas, specialty evergreens, and seasonal cut flowers which she used in all of her unique creations.
A natural transition led her from landscape to floral design.
Sarah put together a fantastic team including Mary Nolan, former head floral designer for the Preservation Society of Newport County and her mother, Gisela, an international award winning floral designer. They have worked with local venues including New York Yacht Club, Glen Manor House, Eisenhower House, Newport Yachting Center, Oceancliff, Regatta Place, Rosecliff and the Marble House. Their work has been featured in Bliss Celebrations, Newport Life Weddings Magazine, and Style Me Pretty. In addition to weddings, Sarah designs for nonprofit organizations including the Boys and Girls Club, Hope Funds for Cancer Research, and the Norman Bird Sanctuary. Sarah specializes in floral design for weddings and events in Southern New England and in Sarasota, Florida. Sarah and her team will work with you to create a truly unique floral experience.
